Cultural Weekend

Amelia watching the symphony.

Playing hide and seek.

One of the 25 original copies of the
Declaration of Independence.

Nashville was brimming with cultural events this weekend.  It was hard to choose which ones to attend!  We chose the free day at the Symphony on Saturday.  Amelia was in AWE of the music.  Ford was holding her on his lap and he said her little heart was beating a million beats a minute!  She couldn't take her eyes off of the stage and she clapped with excitement before they were finished.  We spent much of the day at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center watching many musical acts and exploring this beautiful symphony hall.  Good times!
On Sunday we stood in line for an hour and a half to catch a 30 second glimpse of the above.  The Declaration of Independence was on display at the Nashville Public Library.  Amelia didn't get too much out of this one but we learned that she can tolerate long lines without crying...as long as we let her explore and make friends with everyone in line.
